In 2012, London will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Along with the excitement, a whole host of economic opportunities will come to the capital. What does it mean for your business?
The Government report, "The Business of the Games," which was published in February 2006, highlighted the need for SME involvement. "We must ensure that London’s small and medium-sized enterprises get a piece of the action," commented Chair Dee Doocey. "If multinational companies use their know-how and muscle to win most of the contracts, we risk many of the economic benefits going elsewhere."
